2024 SCHEDULE:

-In November, we will not have classes on Friday, November 12 and 22 or Saturday,November 23 due to competition.

-Make up classes are available on Wednesday, November 13th from 6-9 pm and Wednesday, November 20th from 6-9 pm. LOCATION: Madison Youth Arts. 1055 E Mifflin Street, Madison, WI 53703.

GODDESS FORMATION TRAINING- A Fusion of Latin, Hip Hop, Belly and African

 

Beginner Goddess Class

Days & Time: Saturdays 12:30-2:30 pm

Cost: $15 per class with a class package

*No experience necessary. Two left feet welcome! No class on Thanksgiving weekend

Essence: Advanced Goddess Formation Team

Days & Time: Fridays 7:00-9 pm, Saturdays 10-12:30pm

Cost: $60 per weekend with a class package

Essence, our advanced formation team, is for ladies only ages 18 and up. Our practices consist of International Latin Technique which we train every Friday night from 7-9 pm. Saturday morning training will consist of choreography and the fundamentals of hip hop, belly and African from 10:00-12:30 pm. ​Our team will be taking part in competitions, shows, and videos. ​Please contact us if you are interested in joining. Dance experience required.

ADULT INTERNATIONAL LATIN DANCE GROUP CLASSES

New Student Special - Try your first Friday night class for $10 or two for $20 

($15 per class with class package after that). 

​

Technique Fundamentals - Cha Cha, Samba, Jive and Rumba Rotation -

*Learn body isolations in all 5 dances with a focus on vertical center, back action, legs and feet, and foot articulation. 3-5 concepts covered within at least 2-3 dances per class*

Days & Time: Fridays 6:00-6:55 pm

Cost:  $15 per class with a class package

 Comp Prep -

*Within this class, we will utilize the concepts from the technique fundamental class in syllabus patterns to music. Dances are on a rotating schedule and we will be highlighting 2-3 dances per class*

Days & Time: Fridays 7:00-7:55 pm

Cost: $15 per class with a class package ​

Comp Choreography -

*Now that you know how to move from foot to foot, it is time to put routines together.  All of the routines are bronze level and will be crafted for each of the 5 latin dances by the end of the year*

Days & Time: Fridays 8:00-8:55 pm

Cost: $15 per class with a class package

*Please note that while some dance experience is recommended for all of our technique classes, enthusiastic beginners are also welcome.

**Children with previous dance experience may be eligible to participate in adult technique classes on a case-by-case basis.

Please note that our 8-class punch cards expire 3 months after the date of issue and are non-refundable.
